Cookie policy
This website sets no cookies of its own — no analytics, no advertising, no third-party trackers, and nothing to consent to. The one exception is the spam check on the contact forms, which only loads if you open one.

Cookies we set
None. Not one. Nothing on this site sets a cookie to recognise you, count you or follow you. The only third party that may store anything is the form spam check described below, and only if you open a form.
What we do store
The site keeps a single value in your browser's local storage — a different mechanism to cookies, and one that is never transmitted to any server:
| Name | Type | Purpose | Expires |
|---|---|---|---|
| wm-ruleset | Local storage | Remembers whether you last viewed the Classic or Tabletop rules, so the interactive demos on the site open the way you left them. | Until you clear your browser data |
It holds the literal text basic or advanced. It is not an identifier, cannot be used to recognise you, and is not shared with anyone. If your browser blocks storage, the site simply opens on Classic every time — nothing breaks.
Removing it
Clear site data for this domain in your browser settings, or browse in a private window. There is no setting to change here because there is nothing tracking you to turn off.
Third parties
Browsing the site makes one third-party request, to Google Fonts for its typefaces. Google Fonts does not set cookies on the font-serving domain, but — like any request to any server — it does receive your IP address and user agent in order to answer it. See our privacy policy for the detail, or Google's privacy policy.
There is no embedded analytics, no advertising network, no social widget and no comment system on this site. The campaign trailer is served from this domain, not from a video platform, so watching it tells nobody anything.
If you open a contact form
The forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a person rather than a script is submitting them. It loads only when you open a form — browse the whole site without opening one and your browser never contacts Cloudflare at all.
When it does load, Turnstile may store a token in your browser for its own challenge, and it receives your IP address and technical signals about the session in order to judge whether you are human. Cloudflare states that Turnstile does not use this for advertising and does not track you across websites, which is the reason it was chosen over a conventional CAPTCHA. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy, and our privacy policy for what the form itself does with what you type.
The game itself
Warmasters is a native app on every platform it ships to — phone, tablet and desktop — not a website, and it uses no cookies of any kind. What it stores locally on your device is listed in the privacy policy.
